Week 14 of 2012
Recorded on Apr 9, 2012 in Granada, Spain. When I started this song I thought it wasn't going to be a very good one, but it turned out quite alright I guess
Once again I used Arpache 5 and Chorder on the MIDI insert of the main track, but this time I decided to try using them on the drums as well. It actually works. You just have to play around with it until you hear something cool. Chorder was adding more stuff than I wanted to on the drums for this one so I took it off, but it is definitely usable on drums as well to get some interesting beats.
I used only HALionOne for the sounds (except the beat which is GrooveAgentONE) since HALionOne is the most reliable synth I find and also gives the best results in sound volume. The quality of this song doesn't sound very good on my laptop speakers, but on my headphones it sounds good.
On another note, I downloaded the free Ableton Live Lite which was offered to soundcloud users. Maybe I'll start doing some stuff outside Cubase as well ;)
