Week 17 of 2012

For this song I used only the Kontakt Vintage factory selection. So everything you hear come from 6 of the Vintage instruments out of the 13 that come included in the factory selection. Also all effects used are from Kontakt. It's good to limit yourself sometimes since it forces you to be more creative to get what you want. You also get to know the few things that you use better than if you used a lot of things.

The volume of this song came out even lower than usual. I don't understand what makes certain songs come out louder or lower since at the main out channel they all look the same and I don't do anything special to individual tracks. It sounds pretty weird on my laptops speaker also, but on my headphones it sounds alright. As a reminder keep in mind that I produce these song in just some hours (around 5-7 or so) so they're not really mixed or mastered (which I still need to learn really). Therefore you should listen to them on good speakers or headphones ;)
