Week 3 of 2012

At first I made this song with bass, drums, and an organ. But then I listened to it on my laptop speakers and it sounded absolutely horrible. Then I decided to remove the midi instruments and left the guitar parts. Then I thought I'd do it completely with guitar only and nothing more.

For the rhythm guitar I used two tracks playing the same parts but different recordings so I could pan one left and one right a bit to make it stereo. But then I also used an effects bus so all 6 tracks of rhythm guitar could use the same effects. But for it to work in stereo I had to create two equal FX channels to pan one left and one right instead of panning the individual guitar tracks. There are 3 more guitar tracks which are mono but with stereo effects.
