I started recording something first which you hear at the beginning, then was trying to figure out the time signature. I ended up making it 3/4 as it fit best. When I tried to record more things the beats didn't fit in a normal way and had to play in such a way to accommodate the time signature which made it come out rather interesting as far as the rhythm.
